So I finally went out and got Space Marine, well, rented it.
Its actually really fun, I take away everything bad I said about it after playing the Demo. But, without the Elite pass, I can't get passed Level 5. I was told when I rented the game that I can access all the features (i.e I can play everything advertised)but I cant.
What would you think if I bring the game back and asked for the elite pass, or a refund?

I rented it as advertised, I was even told it had a ll the features of the full game. I'm not debating the point of an elite pass.
I am just asking that, after renting a game and not getting the full features of the game, as advertised, would I get my money back.

Most likely not, but if you are obnoxious enough about it and you keep pressing it over and over on the phone or in real life you could probably get some where.
It depends on who you rented it from. If you rented it from a brick and mortar store, go in and explain the situation. If you rented it from something online, call their customer service number. Hopefully, if you put up enough of a stink, you'll get a refund.
But, there's no way to guarantee anything. You may be able to sue, due to false advertising, but I'm not familiar with Italian law, and suing for a few dollars isn't really worthwhile. So, just talk to the company that rented and explain you're a loyal customer and expect a refund because you didn't get what was promised.
