Ok guys I am trying an experiment. I really want to kick my painting up a notch and I'd like to start commission jobs for more than my LGS soon. Problem is since my store has mainly basic paint jobs I have a hard time gauging how good I am. Here's my proposition: You pick a mini (or a couple) and ship it to me, it can be as crappy or nice as you want. I will paint it to your specifications at the best of my abilitiesfree of charge. All I ask for in return is for you to give me your honest opinion and to pay for shipping. I know I may take some flak for trying this little "trade" experiment but the way I figure it is that I might help out someone and that they can help me in return. I'm thinking like 5 infantry max. I know that quite a few guys have "extra" guys or "paint testing" guys from what I have heard. I have a P 'n M blog and the link is in my sig so you can check what my painting looks like before you respond. I just ask for a chance to prove myself.

PS - I am probably thinking highly of myself, but if for some reason I get inundated with people taking me up on this I might have to make like a waiting list. Also the only reason I don't offer to help pay shipping is cause I will have to buy the paints as I don't have many GW paints (though it is steadily growing!) and I am putting the time into the minis. I like to do a job well and I will definitely post up project pics so you can monitor it and comment on any changes you want made. I just want to say thank you all very much! So far I am finding a spot for everyone who has PM'd me! Everyone here has been more than helpful! I am still willing to do this offer for anyone reading this even though I am suddenly getting a full schedule, so I will have to make a waiting list!!

Would anyone be interested in starting a thread for this (since I'm assuming Benamint is now flooded with models)? I'm actually a pretty good painter who doesn't want to buy models just to paint but wants to paint some new, random models to get the creative juices flowing again. Sorry if this is off topic :S
