Hey there to all who would be willing to help me. I am originally ork player and am starting to get bored so went out and bought my self some Eldar =D. It was the challenge of playing Eldar that drove me to them as every one I meat in the war gaming community say in 40k Eldar are one of the hardest army's to use.
So.... down to business I was wondering if any one could help me sort out a decent list for Eldar as my proxy set up's didn't seem to fair up too well.

The models I own..

Avatar of kain (I borrow it from a friend)
Far seer council composing of 3 locks and far seer
6 Fire dragons
5 Ranger/path finders
5 Dark reapers
20 Guardians with 2 scatter laser plat form's
10 Dire avenger's Dual shuriken catapults on Exarch
5 Wraith guard and a warlock to go with them
1 wraith lord (Bought wraith lord for painting rely since I rely liked the model) armed with scatter laser and star canon with x2 flamers
1 Fire prism
1 Falcon (Wave serpent proxy-ing in as it)
1 wave serpent (or 2 with out Falcon)

So I was wondering what to buy next and what to use in a army list.
My average opponents are Necron, Dark Eldar and space wolves

Welcome to the wonderful world of Eldar. There is a few things to know off the bat.

1) There is 2 types of Eldar (arguably 3 with full jetbike) Foot and Mech. Foot is viable in the right configuration, but ultimately pales in comparison to Mech.

2) Foot and Mech do not play nice is a Hybrid role. Either go all foot or all mech.

3) If you are goign the mech route, then you are looking at at least 4-5 more Wave Serpents and 1 more Fire Prism (or 2 Nightspinners)

4) You will quickly find units like Dark Reapers, Pathfinders, Wraithlords, Wraithguard, and foot seer councils have sadly seen their glory days pass by.

5) Eldrad is a God. One of the single most disgustingly undercosted unit in the game.

Agaisnt your common matchups:

Crons: A Nightspinner is your best friend against Scarabs and Fire Dragons make short work of their AV13 Vehicles. Bright Lances on Serpents helps, but against EVERY other army their aren't worth their cost.

Dark Eldar: Scatter lasers are practically an auto-win against them. 4 Twin Linked S6 shots from a Serpents will rip a vehicle heavy DE list off the board.

Space Wolves: One of the toughest matchups for mech Eldar. Longfangs are the bane of our existence, so you have to strike hard and fast against them to minimize losses or use terrain to block LoS and force them to move.

Immediate purchases:

- 1x Wave Serpent
- 2x Fire Prism/Nightspinner (you will want to magnetize it)
- Eldrad

You will be then be able to setup the following.

10 Guardians w/ Scatter Laser + Warlock w/ Embolden
10 Guardians w/ Scatter Laser + Warlock w/ Embolden
