Hi all, long time lurker here. In all the 8 or so years of playing warhammer, I've never succeeded making an army, nor played a game. I'm hoping this blog will get me pumped to follow through and make a 1500 point-ish force by the end of the year, and I'll need your help to do it I'm working on a 500 point list at the moment, which I'm hoping will get me playing a few small games and help me iron out the army's strengths and weaknesses, and to help me learn how to play the game properly.

Here's a test model. The metal highlights are sloppy, I had to crop this image, and no soft boxes on my flashes= harsh lighting, harsh lighting= weird looking highlights, Sorry about that

If you have any gaming tips you could share with me, that'd be great!

Already looks better than my BA.

As for gaming, I hear Assault Marines are way better than Tacticals in terms of troops for BA. But that's just what I've heard.
