So I'm thinking about buying Ashmantle from Forgeworld, but I notice that he doesn't have specific arms that come with him. I can only assume that means that he just uses regular old weapons. But what is his specific loadout? I'd assume multi-melta and heavy flamer/close combat weapon, but is there an "official" configuration for him?

His specific loadout is the two arms they released with him - the Dreadfire close combat arms. I assume they kept the arms and torsoe separate like every other dreadnought so you can use him as a regular old Salamanders venerable dreadnought with different arms on it. And because they always sell their dreadnoughts and arms separately.

I didn't see any arms as being specified as his.

These: Two huge power claws with built-in heavy flamers which can instead be fired as a twin-linked meltagun. Imperial Armour X contains his complete rules.

Edit: Ninja'd. Also, for reasons known only to themselves, Forge World have neglected to actually label the arms as belonging to Ashmantle.

Uh, what?
They're labeled as "Dreadfire" and on Ashmantle's page...

My confusion arose from the fact that there's ALWAYS recommended products at the bottom of the screen, Kan, no matter what I look at on Forgeworld. Since they didn't have his name attached to them anywhere, I didn't realize that they went with him.

That's fair enough Jim, but I was meaning more that it's not exactly a secret.

It is easy to overlook though.

Note carefully my choice of words. I could, of course, have said "Look at Ashmantle's page, you blind fool!", but to do so would have been unnecessarily snide and rude. I leave it to you bring such things to the conversation.

I wasn't trying to be snide or rude. It's just your choice of words says that "Forge World have neglected to label the arms as belonging to Ashmantle" when on Ashmantle's page they clearly tell you what arms to use.

If I seemed like I was trying to be a jerk, I do apologize. I didn't know whether or not you had seen it on the page because, as I said, it is relatively easy to overlook.
