Why is it that Hammer hand will put a Paladin to Str 10 while wearing a Daemon Hammer but riding a Thunder Wolf (+1 Str) will not push my Wolf Lord with a Thunder Hammer to only Str 9?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Actually a thunderwolf rider is Str 5 on its profile and not 4(5) right?
So it would be Str 10 with a thunderhammer, since his base profile is Str 5, or am I missing something?

No, you're right. Thunderwolf Cavalry with a Thunderhammer are Str. 10.
