Stalwart Space Marine

Hey guys,

just my short story before getting to the picture. I'm starting this Blog in hope of improving my self. I started playing and painting about mid september, but have been enjoying the fluff for a lot longer.
My two favorit chapter were the crimson fist and the sons of guiliman, I went with the Fist simply becaue they were an easier color scheme for a beginner.

For my army I am prioritising praticality over estectic, but I am still want them to look good, so critizise away, point me towards tutorials and ect...alright enough blabing, picture time.

First up My scouts that I recently "finish". They still have some work to be done, but I will revisite them later:

My seargent up close, like what I did with the face, simple dwarf flesh, skull white for the eyes, and then a black wash, but I'm sure I could do better:

This is the top right sniper from the first picture, now with a laucher:

And the Magnest holding them:

My Black Reach Dreadnought, I had extra green stuff from fixing a mistake, so I used it to make him an extra purity seal on top:

I also put magnest on his feet to be able to use him as a wreck:

And finaly just an example of one of my marines:

And the Magnets holding him together, for this one, his back pack is glued, but others won't be:

Still debating on magnest size, the 1/8 is easier and cleaner to put on, but harder to get all the piece straight, the 3/16 one, you need to be dead center:

Let me know what you think
