Hey guys so im slowly working on my space wolves army and decided I wanted a cool Guard to lead a squad into battle. Luckily my brother bought this for my christmas, and 2 months later, hes finally finished.

Would love to hear what you guys think of him.

Very nice, I like the light armour color. You did very well with the snow. My only thing would be that the yellow looks a bit bright, but other than that, It is a wonderful paint job. Looks Amazing!

Correct me if im wrong, but is'nt that the Lukes the trickster?

It looks a lot like Lukas, but its just called "Space Wolf Guard with Lightning Claws" under the elite section on the GW website.

I like him. The armor looks a bit lighter than is standard for Space Wolves, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I'm really digging the ruby on his chest. Nice work there.

Looks quite good to me. Paint job looks solid, and very clean. I'm working on painting up a Space Wolf army myself and have gone back and forth on how dark I want the armor to turn out. I kind of like that lighter shade you've achieved there.

Personally I feel like the gold is maybe a tad bright. Other than that, not much I'd really change.

The pictures have defiantly bought out the gold, its more dim IRL. I like my wolves nice and light, not sure why, guess its because im sick of painting Ultras.

What did you use for the snow. It looks very simpel and effective, but kind of stringy. Is it fibrous material or something? Kinda looks like spider webs or bandage cloth that was glued together into a sort of cushion. Very unique look.

Also, I find that they lighter Space Wolves have a much different feel than the grey ones. My friend plays SW and paints them very dark, and it makes them very menacing and 'mean' looking. The lighter color makes them more appealing and characterful imo. Well done!

Good work mate- I have to say I'm coming round to the idea of lighter armoured Space Wolves (and as such, have started painting mine like that too, even if it is a pain in the arse...). Did you use Citadel Snow? I've found good results mixing it with pva glue with a little bit of water added to it so you get a mashed-potato texture.

I did use citadel snow but im still experimenting with the PVA consistency.
