Hi everyone, would like some advice on how to paint my fire warriors, I'm torn between white armor with purple detailing or black armor and purple detailing maybe ideas besides these also?

I can say that using dark colors on the armor just didn't mesh well with the overall Tau aesthetic. I went with fortress gray for the armor plates, and chaos black for the cloth and joints/unarmored portions of the models. Using a lighter color on the armor plates, and a darker secondary color helps make the armor and detail lines just pop on Tau. Of course, always remember, if you are happy with your paint scheme, that's all that matters!

Go back a colour and do them either Space Wolves Grey or Bleached Bone. Then you can still highlight your minis

Thanks everyone for all of this help just curious, how would you recommend highlighting light armor? I'm very new to this hobby
