Right I have a game coming up against Eldar in a tournament! Lists are fixed and not changeable now! Im Blood Angels....
Is charging in fast a good choice?
Im running lots of Razorback's with Assault Marines aand some Sanguinary guard followed by Mephy the cheese monster!

We would need a tad more information.

What is the other guy's list, for example? If he has a gunline of wraithguard charging in to gun range fast is suicidal, whereas a guardian foot line is a mite more squishable

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

Well I know he has a wraithguard unit in his list. But the size of that unit is unknown.... I could use the Razorbacks to run circles round him and pop the off with Lascannons and Assault Cannons from a distance. The can only move 6" and fire 12" right?

Its a 1500 Point battle. The first match is an objectives mission too

Right, but those guns are ugly.

Can you remember what else he's bringing?

Eldar have several viable builds, and tactics against them will be different depending on which style he prefers.

If he's running mechdar, you're actually mismatched using razor spam. Mephiston is sort of overrated as well, no invul and not being allowed in a squad means he has to be careful getting over to them.

I'd help more, but Eldar lists vary in strength and weakness significantly depending on what they take, being a specialist force and working better focusing on a few aspects of combat.

Edit: Is the council on foot?

Well Im only taking guess's as to what he is taking.... But from what I've been reading I should just drive roun the map avoiding those Wraithguard and use my fast vehicle ability to take long range shots at any big guns he has in range. I dont think he'll take a full Mechdar list as he has other opponents to face and the lits are locked till the end of the group stages.

You will be dealing with quite a small army as scoring wraithguard are almost 400 pts, councils aren't cheap to say the least and lances are hideously pricy. Mobility will cost even more, and if he does have a static arm I wouldn't expect more than a handful of av12 hulls.
As such if you can down the tanks quickly - and spamming lasbacks shouldn't have too much trouble doing so, despite his fields - you'll be able to hang back and freem or bring your force to bear where you choose.
You have the capacity to assault over 18" so you can hit the 'guard without being shot up, and once you're there you should win combat comfortably. Watch them crumble from no retreat. Laugh. Meph should be able to deal to lords one-on-one, but keep him away from witchblades.

And Oromë loved the Quendi, and named them in their own tongue Eldar, the people of the stars.
