Hi all,

I want to try and think up a list that is C'Tan heavy but still competitive. Does anyone have any ideas? I don't have my book on me but when I can, I'll also try to come up with a list.

Also, does anyone else think its bogus that C'Tans can't take wings?

The FAQ specifically mentions the Orikan + C'Tan + WrithingWorldscape combo.

It's bypassed by your enemy going All Reserve, but it quite a pain to fast Mech armies, DE, Eldar, GK & BA.

I've been pained by it a couple times.

I wouldn't go with 3 of them though, far too much a points sink. One is plenty.

And, posting, "I don't have my codex right now" with the "Can anyone come up with a army list" is pretty much a sure sign the poster doesn't own one and they're fishing the 'Net for others to provide them with GW's Intellectual Property, without paying for it.

So, once you get your codex, post a list and then we can help tweak it.

I posted this on Junk's WW thread but this is what I would go with if I was gonna try to run 3:

H-Q

Imotehk
Orikan
RC
Tremortek
Tremortek
VoidTek

ELITES
C'Tan WW/LoF
C'Tan (forget names but lazz canon and stealth)
C'Tan Gaze of Death/Large Pie Plate

TROOPS
20 Warriors (VeilTek
5 Warriors (one tremortek)
5 Warriors (other tremortek)

HEAVY SUPPORT
Monolith
Monolith

Pretty sure I'm over a tad, but you get the basic idea. Reserve one Mono so it can come in turn two with the help of Orikan and give the C;tan (preferably the Gazer) some mobility options. Hide the big boys behind the other lith as they move down the field, keeping the WW/LofF C'tan in the middle to keep him well out of LOS.

The 2+ turns of NF should give the big toys plenty time to get into position, and then its yum yum time with 4 nasty MCs.
