Hello All!

Here are pics of a commission work from 2009. This model was sent to me to be based and painted.
It is painted as requested by the customer.

It is an an older Ultramarine Captain Sicarius model. It was to be painted as just a regular Ultramarine Captain.

The claws are sick. Really good over all.

I really like the red set in opposition to the blue. You've done a really good job of making the important parts (the claws, the scar) stand out. I think your paint job here is very pretty. I have only one complaint about this model, but it isn't something you can do (or could have done) anything about.

I dislike this particular sculpt. It looks less like he's throwing his arms back for a ferocious yell and more like he's pooping his pants. When it came to making this model look good, you were dealt a bad hand of cards that you played very well. Good job.

By the way, did you freehand that banner, or is that the way it is sculpted? Either way, the banner looks phenomenal.

Thank you. I thought the sculpt was lacking too.

I did freehand the Ultra stuff on the banner.
