I've touched base with what I think is the most popular FLGS in the area(Dotgames) and it seems most of the 40k crowd only show up from 3pm-closing on Saturdays. Just curious if there's any 40k'ers out there that know of other places people play and also just want to meet other gamers in the Charleston area. I work second shift, so weekday nights aren't a good time for gaming. Give me a shout out if you're from the area and want a game.

I was recently there for a training school and met a group at the Hobby Town. I'm pretty sure the employees could help you get in touch, that's how I met up with them.

It is a bit of a drive, but, a good drive non the less. Go to MorningStar Games in Savannah GA. Two hour drive tops. I use to live there and play there. Saturday is the big day for any form of warhammer, (40K). Monday they are closed, so, just remember that.

Most of the gaming group from Hobby Town moved to this new store. There's something about more gaming room, looser tolerances to drinks and snacks, consignment for models and discounts that tend to draw business to Dot Games, I can't figure it out.

Yeah.. about that.. I rarely have more than 6 hrs to dedicate to gaming at any one time and I REALLY don't want to spend 4 hrs of it on the road. I have been there, it is a cool place. BTW, if you see Mike Baker there, tell him Scott says "Hi". He's a great guy. Great at organizing things and enjoys sharing a myriad of different games besides just 40k. We used to pal around when I still lived near Augusta, GA
