Hi dakka

i tried making another pm and that died. so now i will try again. this "blog" will contain what i am currently working on and it is my attempt to get people to stor ignoring chaos.

i am just haveing some trouble thinking about how to do the yellow around their heads
any suggestions would be appreciated

I only just noticed this thread after using the search function to try and find mine.

Firstly, thanks for the shoutout, and I'm ecstatic to see I've inspired someone else..

As for the yellow around the head, I could suggest two things, the ebst option depending on how confident you are with a steady hand..

If you are confident, I'd suggest carefully painting the design in either Vomit Brown, or Iyanden Darksun (the yellow foundation). It doesn't matter if it's not super thin at this point.
You then do a layer of Golden Yellow or something over it, being very carefuly to paint it thinly.
This will give it a bit of 'pop', but again, depends on you having a pretty steady hand in the first place.

The other otpion that comes to mind would be to paint the whole chest yellow first, until you get the coverage you like, and then painting the red over that, leaving the design showing through. This will still require a BIT of steady handness, but not as much as painting the freehand design straight up front.
