Most of the time when I read comments on Grey Knights their lists are either described as totally cheesy and overpowered, or utter fail due to lack of range and no anti-armor melta.

So just curious what do you think?

Erm, this is YMDC, you might want General Discussions.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

Well they have very strong gear and some low pt cost upgrades which makes them really good at certain things.

For example a purifier squad with 4 psycanons and 6 halberds is very good offensively but for their cost are fairly soft.

Paladins are very durable vs some army builds that arent sporting good psy defense or lots of ap 1-2, str8 etc shooting. Plus if you invest in a lot of them yes theyre very strong but limiting to the rest of the army due to their high cost so require some finesse to alway keep them in the right place to be useful and not just shot up.

Henchman are cheap. You can field a bunch of them but many have a single purpose like DCA. Yes theyre very good at assault but along they lack things like grenades and if their transport is destroye they lack shooting.

If you compare them to other armies theyre good but within the book people have preferences. Some love henchman, some love random hybrids, some love paladins, etc. SO really you will have many varying opinions due to preference just liek some like shooty armies, some like hyrbids and some like cc. I myself do not care for henchman. I do not like the models or many of their 1 dimensinal play per model.

The enemy of my enemy is a bastard so lets kill him too.

I've already put my thoughts in the following thread and Nos pretty much said what I was going to before I got a chance to review the posted list that someone was going "This is OP, how would you beat this?!!!".....for a list that honestly wasn't that great.

There are several threads on this topic in more appropriate forums, such as 40k discussions. If you just want a vote, you may want the (currently) 37 page thread in Tournament Discussions. Or maybe you want to make a poll in the poll forum.
