Hello there everyone!
I would like to ask you a few questions if possible to be answered.
First of all I would like to ask about black horror. The models under the blast takes a toughness test or suffers a wound with no armor saves allowed. Now here comes the question, can the models take ward save normally? SInce the rulebook says that whenever a spell calls for a characteristic test you cannot take any other possible save other than the test itself.
Bladewind: targeted unit takes 3d6 ws4 str4 attacks like being in close combat you can allocate the attacks on a character, champion etc in the unit. BUT! Can those attack use the eternal hatred of the sorceress to reroll failed to hit rolls?

That's all for now

Thank you in advance,

Theofilos.

Yes, because it doesnt say no saves of any kind. You take the test - if you fail you take a wound, and taking a wound allows saves

From the Dark Elves FAQ, page 3 near the top left:
Q. Do attacks made by a Bladewind spell benefit from special rules
that apply to the caster (Hatred, for example)? (p63)
A. No.

You would get a ward save. Where in the rule book does it say that you dont get any save against a characteristic test? I know for other similar spells it says removed from play with no saves of any kind allowed, however I cant find anything that says what you say is in there.

You only get saves against wounds, so if a characteristic test simply killed you if you failed / passed it, then you would not get any save - no wounds were caused

Or in the part of said spells that says "no saves of any kind allowed".
