Does anyone know of any army lists for the WFB armies for LotR - I have gone off WFB - partly due to the regiment/movement system and the magic and wodnered if anyone had done WFB army lists for LoTR - thanks

I've never personally heard of anyone doing this.

The figures for lord of the rings and WHF are different sizes (25mm and 28mm IIRC) which will make the WHF figures look out of place.

You could do this if you were playing with a friend but opponents at a friendly gaming store might be a bit peeved to see a WHF army out in a LoTRs game.

I am fully aware of the issues regardind the licence -

I am not talking of mixing the ranges but using the rules for my huge WFB armies as it looks more my sort of game these days but if its not been done fair enough..

I'm confused, do you want to use your WHF models in LotR under Count's As or do you want to use your WHF stats with the LotR rules?

They are 2 very different game systems and are completely uncompatable.

I don't know. I managed once, but I can't quite remember how. Something like fate = Ward saves or summat...

You'll have to create your own profiles I'm afraid, but I'd say that Minas Tirith Warriors are just as good as Empire state Troops, and Uruk-Hai Bezerkers are good for your normal brutish Greenskins, bear that in mind now.

I was looking to see if anyone had stated out WFB armies for LOTR but I guess not

There is a Yahoo group called Hail Sauron! which is statting out WotR & WHFB armies to use the Hail Caesar! rules.
