I love Mawlocs more than anything else in the Warhammer Universe, here is my attempt to make a DECENT list with this monster that got nerfed in its codex

HQ- Hive Tyrant: Lash whip/bonesword, Heavy venom cannon, wings, hive commander

Elite- Deathleaper
2 Lictors
2 Lictors

Troop- 10 genestealers w/ 1 Broodlord- All have Adrenal Glands. Broodlord has scything talons
10 genestealers w/ 1 Broodlord- All have Adrenal Glands. Broodlord has scything talons
10 genestealers w/ 1 Broodlord- All have Adrenal Glands. Broodlord has scything talons

Heavy- Trygon Prime: Bare
Mawloc: Bare
Mawloc: Bare

-Everything starts in reserve. Tactics include putting the lictors behind the trygon or tyrant and when everyone rushes them the lictor can place the mawloc blast on the bundled up guys without touching a friendly unit.
-Deathleaper just bounces around and is fun but can also help protect the lictors with his 1d6 difficult terrain movement to opponents
-I know the anti tank is a little weak thats why all the stealers have adrenal glands instead of toxic sacs and the heavy venom cannon will hopefully do something once a game...maybe
-Genestealers will hopefully stay together so the broodlords can tag team their powers. During objective games ill place one objective far from everything in case one unit outflanks from the wrong side they will at least capture the objective
-The trygon is pretty much there to take heat off the mawlocs, same with the hive tyrant (as well as hive commander)

On paper it doesnt look too scary but iv played 2 games with them and completely wiped both space marines and ravenwing (bike list). Any feedback would be appreciated to improve the list.

That's funny, I was literally just thinking about a lictor/mawlock list today myself. I enjoy the concept, I was initially thinking of making the lictors as fat as possible and bringing 3 though. Also, do you not bring the maw locks on turn one or have you noticed they get shot up to much (basically preventing having to roll reserve for them).

If you play without hive commander, and a list that has some other things on the board when you set up fielding your mawloc on turn 1 is a good idea.

But coming in on a 3+ and having 2 iv noticed its better to just keep them in reserve. 1 will at least always come in on the first turn and if the 2nd one does then great but even if it doesnt it kinda acts as an insurance that I can contest an objective at the end of the game no matter what turn it goes to. Having a mawloc come in on each turn is pretty fun, they take turns reaking havoc

I want to have 3 lictors in each squad but i cant seem to find anywhere to make room for the points

Ive run this list a few times with pretty good success. This is 1750. Lots of fun, very tactical. Lictors are awesome.
