Subject: An Amazing speech from an Amazing Video game series.
I always loved this speech, and looking back onto it I could see how it could easily fit into the Warhammer 40k universe.
And to all the enemies of man seek not to bar our way, for we shall win though! No matter the cost!
"The Imperium is nothing if not willing to go to any lengths necessary. So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. Enjoy tentacle-rape, Kirk, we know Sulu will." -Terminus
"This great fortress was a gift to the Blood Ravens from the legendary Imperial Fists. When asked about it Chapter Master Pugh was reported to say: "THEY TOOK WHAT!?""

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of the most thought provoking and, from a story-line standpoint, one of the most beautifully written games I have ever played. And I have played a lot of games.
I picked Let Mankind Choose. I didn't want to throw humanity into the dark ages, and I didn't speak to Taggart and Sarif to unlock the other options.

What exactly is amazing about this video again [in the OP]?
The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Agreed about the Deus Ex ending. Very heart warming and satisfying.
I quite like Scholar Visari's Speech from the beginning of Killzone 2. Obviously its a nazi pastiche but it sounds good.
My favourite Line is from Deus Ex 2. If you waste everyone in the trier Police station Chad Dumier says. 'I find your cavalier attitude towards human life sickening'.
EDIT 2 I like it when Jarl Ulfric says 'I would gladly retire from the world, were such a day to dawn'

Put yourselves in the shoes of a kid who has never really played any games before, and had only played starcraft.
Exactly.
Well. Just how powerful and well executed it was if you knew the back story around it. The part I quoted in my OP gave me the shivers.
Never mind if you were just a kid who had first played it. And Yes I have played every single game that the videos in the post come from, that was just my contribution.
I have played every Starcraft game, and ever Warhammer 40k game.

Not true.
Renegade is a laugh a minute.
You get to force a guy to drink poison.
You betray a mother to her sex-vampire daughter who then takes her place on your team.
You push a guy out of a window.
How is that not hilarious?

Thats mean. Reread that and think to yourself. Wait I did that?
And when you run in and scream "THERES A BOMB!"
That is probably one of the funny moments.

Spoiler:
Shoot kids dad in front of him, then berate kid and tell him to stop whining.
