ello! seeing as how helpful and friendly this forum is, I figured why not ask this question?
out of all of the eldar aspect warriors, which one is your favorite and why?
personally, I LOVE the striking scorpions. being very tough (armor save wise) and having
lots and lots of hard hitting attacks, these guys are easily one of the most effective close combat
troops in the game! their only real downside is their slow movement when compared to the rest of
the army who have fleet. but hey, you don't give these guys the outflank move for nothing

My favorite are the Swooping Hawks.
I love the models, fluff, and their rules are all pretty cool...sure, they're not the best, but they will always be my favorite.

As a retired Eldar played (slowly selling of my stuff) i love Fire Dragons and Fuegan (their PL).
The cheapest melta squad you will ever find, not to mention i love the models! ( YMMV)
And, at the time i used to play eldar, Fuegan was my best painted and most loved model. Im going to keep him, regardless
I do like Warp Spiders too. Their model is pretty sweet
I detest sweeping hawks. Their model is aweful, and their rules, well, i can make a poo look better. (no offence to anyone who likes them )

Dire Avengers are pretty sweet, I like the all-round warrior theme they have going, and they look pretty decent to boot.
As it stands though, it's a tie between Fire Dragons, Scorpions, and Dark Reapers; I like fire, I like stealth, I like ranged killing; the Phoenix Warriors are pretty awesome too, Feugan I can imagine humming a pleasant tune as he wanders through burning wrecks, ranged fire plinking off his armour, and anything that comes close recieving an axe through the skull.
Karandaras I see as being someone who appears out of nowhere, but acts as though he's always been there, like if you look one way, look the other way for a second and then look back, he'll be standing there as if he'd been there all along, you know, before he tears your head off.
Maugan Ra seems like someone who just gets on with it, and does it without speaking at all. I imagine that he went into the EoT, found his craftworld, and dragged it out without uttering a single word.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I like all the Aspect Warriors , with the exception of Shining Spears . For some reason it's just their helmets that keeps me from loving them at all .
If I have to narrow it down , Banshee's are my hands down favourite . They have made every Eldar list since the new models came out . Using them alas can be tricky sometimes . Nothing makes me rage more than watching them bounce of something and then get slowly mugged to death .

Always had a soft-spot for Warp Spiders. They (way back then) really used to bring home the "alien" technology and mobile precision warfare theme of the Eldar. Like them better when they shot (monofilament) templates though and the models are showing their age. But generally, give them an up-do-date cool plastic box with multiple weapon options and I'll be more than likely to be sucked back into Eldar. Hell, I even think Interceptors are among the coolest stuff in the Grey Knight books, and they don't do the warp-jumps with half the style of spiders.

Dark reapers for me, I just really, really like the models, they are dripping with menace and the weapons look very Eldar and deadly. Plus they kick som behind and attract masses of fire, allowing other units to act more freely.

Oh, tie between Warp Spiders and Swooping Hawks. If it came to the crunch I'd probably go for the Spiders.

Fire Dragons - they are the first thing I put in any Eldar army I make, regardless of the maximum points allowed in a game. I love how they can take out almost all vehicles in the game, or hurt Monstrous Creatures with ease. They are a must in my eyes.

In the game, fire dragons are the go-to unit that clears the board of armor.
My favorite models are the banshees. The power swords and big hair just look awesome. Swooping hawks come in a close second. If their models are updated to have better wings they would be first.

But what if the Banshees also had their models updated? Slightly slimmer legs, more sleek hair, sharper angles on the facemasks, etc? Maybe, just to make them more alien, some sort of mane on their backs, or mechanical-tentacles (I'm thinking about the psychic equipment the brotherhood had in Mutant Chronicles)
In either case, I like all aspect warriors equally when speaking about fluff, but when we look at the table-top...
Banshees - bad synergy with transports and rest of codex
Scorpions - bad synergy with rest of codex
Dire Avengers - plain and boring and not at all as adaptable as the fluff describes them
Swooping Hawks - suicidal and just meh
Dark Reapers - bad synergy with rest of codex and places themselves in a death trap
That leaves Fire Dragons and Warp Spiders. Warp Spiders could be made more alien, and I actually prefer the 3rd edition models for Fire Dragons.

Personally, Striking Scorpions for me. They are the closest to shedding the old 'pansy eldar' stereotype. They're heavily armoured. They stalk the enemy through rugged terrain. They don't bother with power swords or anything really esoteric like screaming deathmasks. They lay in with brutal chainswords and head mounted guns. The one thing that actually stopped me getting Eldar was my preferred loadout for a Scorpion exarch - chain sabres, doesn't have a model. I'm actually impressed with chapterhouses not-striking scorpion exarch, and it's making me seriously consider an Eldar army.
