A gaming store just opened in Cle Elum. Wondering if anyone has been by ?

I actually live in cle elum and have stopped by a couple of times. Great group of people running the store, they have some tables set up and are in the process of getting more people in. I am just starting back into WHFB from a long hiatus and would love to see some more people in the store.

I live in Cle Elum as well, about 2 blocks from the store. But im currently in Asia. Ill be back in town in a couple of weeks. Just wanted a heads up on what to look forward to. Heard that have a small group of 40k players there at the store? Know any more about it? Gotta hype myself up about it.

I emailed the owner just last night and she said that they have a few 40k players around. I'm not sure numbers wise what that means in total. But I do know that the owners themselves have some 40k armies and fantasy armies. But its a pretty nice place, took my wife there today and actually got her hooked on fantasy with a demo game.

Hmmmm, interesting. I am located in Renton, thats a drive for me, but it might be worth it to meet some new people or for a big game.

Of course that will have to be organized in advance!

Ill be back in town around the beginning of march for about a month. Yall want to set something up im game ^_^.

That'd be great. I just got started back with them and got my battalion box ordered from them. Should have time by then to get it assembled and painted for at least a small game.

Ill have quite a few Nids and about 2.5k of SM.

Okay, im just starting in fantasy right now, wonderful $$ constraints. I'll head into the shop today and ask em how many 40k players are around and let them know you'll be around in march and looking for a game.

To Utherius = Warhammer Fantasy? that any good? thought about getting into it but I dont know who/what to play.

Mmm, I honestly haven't played it in ages to be honest. Rules are a little bit more complex, from what ive been reading there is more strategy and not so many of the same lists running around.

I personally just love the look of the fantasy armies more, but i'm more of a fantasy nerd than sci-fi to begin with. When you get into town talk to the owners, they are pretty knowledgeable about the armies and such and can help get your off on a good start.
