maybe you think the same:

the new rules and single-sprue boxes is just to make money on Lotr..

first they create some new monsters to attract peoplee to play Lotr again...
then they come up with warband rules...nothing wrong with that though...
then they increase prices of warriors and commanders by 30%, but you'll have to buy them if you want to have an army with the new rules.....or if you want to play with the new monsters.

(yet i still bought 2 scourcebooks, som warriors and commander.... )

I'm not sure wether that is a sword... it's more like a letteropener, really.

yep I'm afraid it'll go that way. They up their prices each year, and even though they had less people buying they made more profit last year. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a price increase for other games too. Hopefully they don't charge the hell out of the hobbit mini's when they come out. Really want to get my hand on some of those dwarves!

It is pretty low the way they've done it and although I approve of the reduced box content, upping the price per mini is typical of GW these days.

However as I noted in another thread, there are literally boxes and boxes of the older sets (containing exactly the same minis) kicking around on ebay for a fraction of the new cost.

Get used to GW, kids. They have been doing it this way for the last 2 decades.
