Vamp+grave guard =combat block. necromaner+banshee+skeleton x2 =character bunkers. zombies+spirit host redirecters/tarpits. terrorghiest flanking and screaming.
before anyone says zombies aren't big enough to tarpit they will be getting a lot of IoN.
my only worry is lack of a high level caster but vamplord is great

You can get around the lack of a high level caster with a Mortis Engine and Blasphemous Tome. My list is very similar to yours but I have the Mortis Engine instead of the terrorgheist. It might be a good idea since you're counting on IoN to boost your Zombie units, and most 2000 point lists have level 4's in them. It would also give you a regen / life-sucking bubble and another banshee scream. With the Lore of Vampire attribute it's easy enough to keep alive too. I think it would compliment your list more than the terrorgheist does.

I would try to find the points to give GG great weapons, makes them an extremely hard hitting unit with the Barrow banner
