Any limit to the number of IG vet sqauds?

I have an infantry platoon filling one troop slot, and a Vet squad filling the other. Can the infantry platoon also field vet squads, or only plain infantry squads?

The codex tells you how many of what squads you can take for Infantry Platoons.

Veteran squads occupy one troop slot, platoons also occupy one troop slot.
So if you had a platoon you could have up to five veteran squads, since you're allowed 6 troop choices.

Troop1 - platoon Alpha (the not spam part)
PCS
3 infantry squads
2 HWS
1 SWS
Troop2 - Vet squad melta spam
Troop3 - Vet squad melta spam
Troop4 - Vet squad melta spam
Troop5 - Vet squad melta spam
Troop6 - Vet squad melta spam

There you go. Because some people are visual.

Of course neither of those answer the OP's question. He was asking about the squads within hte infantry platoon, not how many Vet squads he can take.

Reference the title of the thread. Any limit to the number of IG Vet squads? Sure sounds like he's asking about vet squads to me. He then asked if vet squads could be part of the platoon (ansqwer is no). Again, sounds like he's asking about vet squads to me.

OP, you are limited to 6 vet squads (6 troops Force org slots, 6 vet squads), and none of them will be paert or parcel of an Infantry Platoon. They are a separate Force org slot.

Thanks. I do have the codex, but was confused with the required minimum troops slot requirement, and thought that the two troops minimum was also the maximum I was allowed to have.
