I made my own with cardboard. It is a vindicare in a box, since I couldn't buy the real vindicare model from my local GW (they don't keep metals in stock any more there).

I shall cherish any opportunity to show him off and plug my project blog.

Otherwise I could recommend Elves, Eldar, Dark Eldar with snipers and cool helmets.

I have a few different signs for every occasion, by the way.

Expanding on what ShatteredBlade has shown, there are plenty of models in the Infinity range that would be a perfect fit for the Vindicare. Definitely worth a look.

How big are infinity models compared to GW models. Since i have been looking through the inifinity models and so would be great for my eldar and dark eldar.

So would they be to big to add into a dark eldar/ eldar army? I want to add some nice models that are close to thier size to give my army a different look to it.

Sorry, but infinity models tend to be slightly shorter and much, much thinner than 40k, the scale looks quite different. IMO they aren't really suitable for use alongside 40k models.

Infinity Teutonic Knights next to 40k (duh) Space marines. Infinity it actually 28mm as well, but 40k tends to be all over the scales and in the 28mm "Heroic" size

I like the first picture that's shown.

You can also use the scout snipers, which are also a good option for saving money, especially if you want multiple assassins.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

Not for alternatives to models like Space Marines, but for things that would be comparable to something like the Vindicare assassin, which has slightly less offensive proportions than most armoured 40k models, or in comparison to the Forgeworld Krieg and Elysian troopers, Infinity models actually fit fairly nicely.

I don't have anything to add to the thread at hand, so I'll just join in with the others and say that that model is made of pure win.
