Do the Bloodstrike missles count as 4 seperate (provided they have not been used) weapons for a weapon destroyed result?

I know you treat them as 4 sperate weapons for the purpose of shooting, but I wasn't sure on this

It's listed under wargear as Four Bloodstrike missiles, making the missiles four separate weapons.

A: Yes.

Not necessarily. Look at the Manticore's wargear. It's equipped with "Storm Eagle Rockets," not "Four Storm Eagle Rockets." Storm Eagle Rockets is one weapon that works in conjunction with a special rule called "Limited Ammunition" that prevents the weapon from firing more than four times over the course of the game. A Bloodstrike missile is an S8 AP1 One-Shot weapon. The Stormraven is equipped with four such weapons. Ergo, each Bloodstrike missile is a single weapon for the purposes of weapon destroyed.

So to summarize, a Stormraven is equipped with four individual S8 AP1 Heavy 1, One-Shot weapons. A Manticore is equipped with one S10 AP4 Ordnance D3 Large Blast weapon. The fact that the Manticore has a special rule limiting how many times the vehicle can shoot said weapon is irrelevant. For the purposes of Weapon Destroyed, the rules only care about how many of a weapon the vehicle has.

I disagree with pretre.

The Manticore has 1 Weapon with 4 shots.

The Stormraven has 4 Weapons with 1 shot each.

This is also why the Manticore can only fire 1 shot per turn, while the Stormraven can fire all 4 on the same turn (assuming it's movement speed allows that many weapons to be fired)

I agree with the above two posts.

And to further complicate things the Stormraven actually still has 4 Bloodstrike missiles even after they have all been fired. So it still has 4 weapons for the purposes of Weapon Destroyed results/glancing it to death.

Not according to page 4 of the main rulebook. FAQ.

To elaborate it further: once one-shot weapon has been used, it is counted as "Weapon Destroyed". Page 4, Rulebook FAQ.
