I was wondering if the Lucifer Blacks are still employed by the Aristocracy of the Imperium or used by the Noble Houses on Terra as bodyguards.

Were they disbanded, destroyed, or ????

It's been ten thousand years. I reckon they've passed into history at this point. It'd be kinda like asking if modern aristocracy still uses roman Praetorians as bodyguards.

I think it's mentioned in Legion that the Lucifer Blacks were very few in number even at the time of the book.

There is a Lucifer Black also mentioned in Blood Games, which happens a fair bit after Legion. But no book after that has mentioned them.

They are pretty awesomesauce though.

They are likely a relic from the past.

From Legion.

"By the time of the Horus Heresy, they were considered an infamous as well as near extinct group."

Id say that they are all gone by now unfortunately. They are uber cool though no doubt. Wouldnt mind some more fleshing out on those bad boys.

Shame they have passed into legend. They were really cool.
