I was really looking forward to getting the Tamurkhan: Throne of Choas Book.. but not that the GW site is no longer selling FW books, is buying directly from FW my only option?

If memory serves you could never buy it off GW's site

Yeah i don't remember being able to buy any directly off GW's site (you could get very lucky and get something in a store though)

You could a couple months ago and there is a thread somewhere with the news of them being taken down. I ordered several last year.

They even have a spot still for it on the website.

The FW website is the obvious choice. Some bigger GW battle bunkers can get FW things though.
And yes, I bought it from the GW website when it was still possible.

You need to order from FW indeed, as mentioned abouve some places migth still get FW stuff

Thanks guys. Forge world won't take my card for some reason so I was trying to find an alternative. Guess I should of snagged it while it was on the US site. Live and learn.

You should see if you can get some other people to join in on the order with you.

A) if you get enough together, it's free shipping

B) you can make someone else use their card

How much is it to get free shipping? Seeing at it's 15% of the cost usually, that's a lot of savings.

250 pounds...so it usually takes a couple of people to get there.

Ouch, that's a big order, lol.

I also bought mine from the GW site for free postage, shame you can't do that with the other FW books!

I am British, now living in the USA. When I tried ordering from FW with my US card a while ago, it wouldn't go through; it turns out my bank block transactions to overseas websites, as part of their fraud prevention measures. So, you might need to call your bank and ask them to deactivate them while you're placing your order (which is what I have to do).

Try your local store. My local store is a closet and they carry all IA books from Vraks onwards, and also Tamurhkan. I nearly bought it there until I remembered I wanted the Wight King standard bearer, then I just ordered it from FW.
