Subject: Techmarine bolster defense before rolling off?
Since bolster defense is done before the game begin, if I have chosen the terrains and chosen which pieces get the bolster defense, wouldn't my opponent be able to take my side of the table with a roll off?

It's not done before rolling.You and your opponent roll off and then deploy,then you choose which terrain has been bolstered ( preferably one with telion led scouts in it,to make the most of it ).
