To Whom It May Concern:

Don't Panic!

Bartertown will be taken down temporarily on Friday 17 FEB 2012 for maintenance. It will likely be down all day, but feel free to check back in every few hours. Don't worry! It will be back up and we're hoping this will resolve the email issue and a few other gremlins that have squirmed into the system.

Thanks again for your support as we work to make BT the best trading site on the interwebz!

Don't none of them no-good Bartertownies never respond to my meticulously polite PMs any-damn-way.

Kidding. I LOVE Bartertown. I've sold/traded away most of my stuff in the culling that my wife insisted on in the run-up to the birth of our first child (b-minus 4-5 weeks...) so I don't have much to barter with in my favorite internet town anyhow.

But thanks for the heads-up anyhow, Eric!

I've never seen that pop up (if you're being serious). For the record, however, there is a "Collectible Card Game" forum where they could be traded.
