This is the model I made from scratch for my Yuriel. It combines high elf mage, human mage, high elf chariot, and high elf dragon rider models.

BA Army
* Stormraven *3
* Mephiston
* 2 LR god-hammers
* Furioso dread
* 3 Assault Squads in LRs or Raven

General Strategy
At the start of the game, my opponent and I both acknowledged that this was a bad matchup for him. His best chance was to try and stop my dragons before they destroyed his entire army. I chose to reserve my entire army, relying upon the autoarch to help bring them on in time. He reserved his 3 stormravens.

Rolloff and Deployment
I won the roll, and chose to go second. He put his 2 LR on the board and reserved the rest.

Turn One
Nothing happened. He stood still trying to avoid the incoming serpents.

Turn Two
On his turn, twp of his stormravens came on. He had no targets, so he just moved them flat out. One carried his dread, and the other carried Mephiston. The stormchicken carring Mephison is not seen on this image, its close to the camera and out of the shot.

On my turn, all my tanks save the nightspinner came on. I boosted my fire dragons straight down the line. The avengers I moved to the side to give cover to, and I put my prism and ML tank in the corner to give them cover.
When my shooting round came, I destroyed the stormchicken carrying the furioso dread.

Turn Three
His dread moved forward. His other chicken did not come on the board. He shot at me with everything and did nothing. He did not even shake a single serpent. He moved his furioso up just to see what it would do.

On my turn, I moved my dragons up and disembarked one which destroyed one of the LRs. One of the assault marines inside was killed.
The other serpents moved flat out to get a cover save. The farseer cast Fortune on his squad. They disembarked, and with Yuriel, assaulted the furioso dread. Yuriel and the farseer whiffed epically, but the 9 warlock swings all connected and destroyed the dread. As the warlocks did not have enhance, the dread killed all 3 warlocks, even with fortune. I consolidated Yuriel and the Fareseer closer to the exposed assault squad.

Turn Four
His other stormchicken came on, and he managed to destroy one of the serpents with it. His surviving land raider fired and destroyed the other fire dragon carrying serpent. One of the fire dragon squads was pinned after the shooting (the squad in the middle below) He assaulted the fire dragons that killed the LR and the serpent that carried them. He destroyed the scatter laser with a power fist, and killed all the dragons that came from it. This other stormchicken shot at one dragon serpent and destroyed it.
It was an exceptional round of shooting on his part!

On my turn, the third fire dragon squad shot the second land raider and destroyed it. Yuriel and the Fareseer were fortuned again, then fleeted close enough to assault the 5 marines. The two of them tore apart all 4 marines, and the remaining one stayed locked. My fire prism destroyed his second stormchicken (carrying the assault squad) and they fell to the ground useless. On my turn I rammed his remaining stormchicken with the damaged serpent, but to no avail.

Turn Five
His mephiston-carrying stormchicken moved forward and dropped mephison off right next to the 5 avengers that were left. He assaulted them and made very, very short work of them. His stormchicken shot another serpent but did nothing. Mephiston did not use any of his psychic powers for fear of perils due to runes of warding on the Farseer. He assaulted the pinned fire dragons with his suriving assault squad, and proceed to kill 2 of them. His final assault squad moved forward into cover and assaulted the ramming serpent, and managed to stun it.
In the assault phase, Yuriel killed the last assault marine and he and his Farseer backup consolidated close the next assault squad.

On my turn I moved Yuriel and the Farseer up to the remaining 3 assault marines and my 1 trapped dragon. The other surviving dragons go aboard a serpent for protection. I moved my avengers and serpent around the close objective to help protect it from a contesting via stormchicken. As the chicken is not a tank, it cannot try and tank shock me off the objective.
I shot my nightspinner which finally came on the board at the last assault marines and did not hurt them at all. I shot my prism and ML at the stormchicken to no avail. Yuriel and the Farseer demolished the 3 assault marines without even breaking a sweat, and consolidated to the center of the board. I knew the game was going to end soon and wanted to get as many points as possible. The reamining serpents shot at the last assault squad and got them down to 1 man.

We rolled to see if the game was over, and it continued.

Turn Six
On his turn six, Mephison used his movement power, and failed suffering a perils wound. He then fleeted over to the nightspinner and beat it down with some STR 6 hits. The spinner was destroyed and I had nothing in that quarter. He brought his last stormraven over and got near my objective. He could not get any closer than where he was due to my placement of avengers and tanks. His last troop choice tried to jump to an objective, but he rolled a 1 in getting out of difficult terrain and he died. Thus without any troop choices he could only hope to contest. I was holding 2 objectives quite solidly.

On my turn, I brought my tanks around and took some pot shots at his stormraven with no avail. I dropped out the avengers from one serprent, then proceeded to ram the stormchicken with it -- but to no avail.

Game Summary
At the end of the game I controlled 2 objectives and he contested none. I had 3 table quarters and he had 1. On KPs we tied.
It was a bad matchup for him from the start. He just did not have the right list to beat mine, as I could drop the dragons and warlocks to quickly onto his army.
The guy I played with was a pleasure to play with, and I hope to get the chance to do so again.

A fortuned Yuriel can be a beatstick. He can still be doubled out easily by targets like Mephiston, but vs many targets he is highly effective.

For example in another game at that tourney (which Ill post later) vs Necrons, Yuriel managed beat the stormlord and a squad of necron warriors (with a shackle/scythe lord and chromo cyrptek) for 3 assaults in a row.
Hes a very effective tool for that, but you just need to use him properly and not send him into the wrong assault.
