Well after my "Agressive dwarf life" didn't go well (I didn't play the list to bad I think or role that bad, I just think the tactic doesent work, but thats the assumtion when I got my ass beat in two games using that list) So heres a second go at it.
Lords:
Runelord: Shield, Rune of Stone, Master Rune of Balance, Rune of Spelleating-248
Heroes:
BSB: Rune of Resistance, Rune of Preservation, Rune of the Furnace, Rune of Fire, Rune of Stone-150
Thane: MR of Challenge rune, rune of stone-95
Core:
30 warriors with great weapons, full command-325
34 warriors, shields, musician, standard-321
16 rangers, crossbows, musician-213
Special:
5 ironbreakers, musician-70
29 hammerers, full command, 5+ ward to shooting banner-428
Cannon, rune of forging, rune of burning, engineer-145
Grudgethrower, rune of burning-85
Bolt thrower, engineer-60
Rare:
Organ gun -120
Gyrocopter-140
Now I know that a grudge thrower without rune of accuracy or rune of pen is if"y" but I noticed that when I started to spend more points on the darn thing(s), it would end up being priority number one to my oppenents and be something like a 150pt loss one the first or second turn. Where as this lowers its threat value and if it go's bye bye, its only an 85 point loss, almost half, and I was able to fit a bolt thrower in, nothing wrong with another warmachine! I also noticed that having a unit of longbeard rangers is sort of expensive and people just tend to ingore them and go around them (or at least try to anyways, even with a challenge thane) and they're a huge points loss (around 850pts). I also find that quarallers rangers tend to be more useful or to be more worth their points in the long run.
Any input would be nice ;D
Cheers
