This episode we squeeze two folks into the third chair: Cody Jones and John Richard from the beloved podcast Game On with Cody and John, the uncommon podcast for the common gamer.

First up is we cover "Where are they now?" the 2010 edition. The four of us take a look at the games we reviewed back in 2010 on both shows. How are they holding up? Do we still feel the same about them.

Later we take a deep dive into "Savage Worlds" reviewing the RPG that has been built to play in just about any setting.

All that and our other not-too-horrible segments including:

- The Hollywood Minute
- Total Fan Girl
- Do You Ever Notice
- & More

Great way to handle the perennial 'Do you guys still play anything you reviewed?' question. Cody and John made an excellent 3rd chair for the episode. (I know I should listen to their podcast as well, but so many podcasts/so little time.)

I enjoyed the summation of Agricola broken down to 'finding which way you don't want to lose'. I still play it, but there is that frustration of playing something that you'll never quite get to do everything that you want to do.

Savage Worlds just might be the RPG that I have been looking for. Typically, I game-bash systems to get something that can go with the story that I want to tell...or to use another system to 'fix' a system with an awesome setting with disappointing rules.

I do have to wonder, what happened at the end? I'm hearing the usual credits, and then stops during Mary Beth Magallenes's credit. Was the easter egg too great for us to handle? Or was that an egg in and of itself? Maybe I should stop reading 'Ready Player One'.

Anecdote time:

My wife, after hearing the Total Fan Girl intro, stated, "Yes, maybe, no."

I took the bait, and asked her what she meant.

"Han did shoot first. Starbuck can sometimes be a woman. Lestat, though?" This was a bit out of the blue for me. Pursuing this ended with an interesting discussion of how Lestat qualified, and different possibilities. (She was limiting herself, initially, to movie/tv vampires; none of which sparkled.)

So, here's what she came up with:
Spoiler:
Dracula, Angel (from 'Buffy'), and Armand (over Lestat from Anne Rice).

Thanks, Nicole, for an interesting topic for a dinner conversation.

@Armandloft Bahaha! Glad I gave you some dinner conversation I'll agree to all but, Armand...who qualifies as a "real" non-sparkling vampire for certain, but doesn't cause nearly as much havoc as Lestat who is so deliciously inappropriate and always causing trouble. He's my favorite Rice vampire!

I just got through "Total Fan Girl"...and I agree about the 3D...there's just something not quite right about it. I took my 7 year old son to see it last weekend, and I will say that I thought the 3D was rather understated compared to other films (you know, like that blue alien Dances with Wolves remake). Not sure if that has something to do with the fact that they didn't actually film it in 3D or not.

In our theater down here, we had a choice...they were actually showing it in regular 2D as well, on one of the screens. We went 3D for the novelty, but if they do the same for the other movies, we may just go 2D.

Thanks for another excellent show chaps, with the ever entertaining Cody and Jon. But who was sitting on who's lap?

Slightly weird question: What is the music that you use for The Lost Chapters? I was somewhat surprised to hear it on the series final of "Winter Wipeout" here in the UK, which was somewhat jarring!

EDIT: Just listened to the Cody and Jon last chapter. No hating on Talisman! Otherwise I'll get the Enchantress to turn you into a slimy little toad. Interestingly Talisman was the inspiration behind using the term followers on Twitter. That is a fact (almost)
