Look at me, throwing out the army lists like there's no tomorrow.
If you've been following my other threads, you know that I've been having a lot of trouble beating my friend's IG tank list with my Descent of Angels list, and it's causing me to question the utility of a purely Descent of Angels-based list. In an effort to not ragequit in frustration in the coming campaign, which will involve my IG friend, some Necrons, and some Tyranids, I've decided to try creating a list that has the resiliency of fast Blood Angels mechanization with at least a little of the Descent of Angels I love.
HQ
* Librarian w/Terminator Armor and Storm Shield (Sanguine Sword, Shield of Sanginius)
Elites
* 5 Assault Terminators (2 Hammer, 3 Claws)
* 1 Sanguinary Priest
Troops
* 5 Assault Marines in a Rhino (1 Meltagun, 1 Power Weapon)
* 5 Assault Marines in a Laserback (1 Meltagun, 1 Power Fist)
* 5 Assault Marines in a Laserback (1 Meltagun, 1 Power Fist)
Fast Attack
* 5 Vanguard Veterans (Power Weapons and Meltabombs for all vets, Hammer on the Sergeant)
Heavy Support
* Stormraven w/Assault Cannons and Multi-Melta
* Dreadnought w/Multi-Melta, Heavy Flamer
The idea is that the stormraven carries the terminators and librarian into battle. The sanguinary priest goes in the rhino (which got busted from razorback to help pay for the priest), which rushes into the thickest part of the fighting so he can give bring Furious Charge and Feel No Pain to wherever it's needed most.
What do you think? Is this how mech is done?

Makes several basic mistakes of newer players trying to make a mech list. 5 vehicles on the board isn't even close to enough, for 1500 points, aim for 8+.
The Terminator + Raven + Librarian + Dreadnaught combo is too many eggs in 1 basket. It's a soft rock, and 1 immob or destroy early on and your army is gutted. Putting it in reserve just leaves 3 rhinos for the enemy to shoot up.
The vanguard will fail to impress. You didn't mention jetpacks, but I assume they're there. That squad is what, 230 points? Those points are better spent elsewhere.
You have borderline too few troops, but if you play them smart you should be okay.
There's no reason to use the dread you have selected.
Here's the list I ran recently at a tournament;
250 Mephiston
50 Sanguinary Priest
165 5 Assault marines, melta-gun, las/plas razorback
165 5 Assault marines, melta-gun, las/plas razorback
165 5 Assault marines, melta-gun, las/plas razorback
145 Vindicator
135 Predator Autocannon, lascannon sponsons
100 2 Attack bikes, multi-meltas
125 Blood Talon Furisio Dread
200 Stormraven
1500
7 Vehicles, 2 Attack bikes and Mephiston who is monstrous creature level of survivability. It's not a great list, but it's served me fairly well. If I had the models, the attack bikes would be land speeders and the vindicator would be a second AL/LC predator. The Raven just transports the Furioso dread, so it's not a "too many eggs in 1 basket" situation. Meph hides behind the razors like a champ and goes to work when he has a good target.
The goal of a mech list is to dilute the opponents anti-tank power, and even if he gets lucky no matter what he kills it's not pivotal to your battle plan due to redundancy.

Razorbacks are your friend if your dedicated to making a mechanized BA list. Seriously, I play CSM and I'm so jealous of your Razorbacks and ASM squads.
If your decided to go with a "mech list" you really have to go all out for target saturation and you can't really hold anything in reserves to deep strike. Take more troop choice, and take transports of some sort with all of your troops if MECH is your idea.

Here's a 1500 point mech list I would run... its a variation on a list I brought to a 30 man tournament last month and took first with.
HQ - Librarian (Shield + Blood Lance) - 100 pts
Elite - Furioso Dread - 125 pts
Troops - 5 man assault squad (Melta gun) in razorback (las/plas) - 165 pts
Troops - 5 man assault squad (Melta gun) in razorback (las/plas) - 165 pts
Troops - 5 man assault squad (Melta gun) in razorback (las/plas) - 165 pts
Fast - Baal Predator (2x HB + TL AC) - 145 pts
Fast - Baal Predator (2x HB + TL AC) - 145 pts
Heavy - Stormraven (EA + TL MM + TL AC) - 215 pts
Heavy - Predator (2x LC + AC) - 135 pts
Heavy - Predator (2x LC + AC) - 135 pts

I took a look at everyone's great lists and put together this amalgamation:
Mephiston - 250
5 ASM w/Meltagun in Las/Plas Razorback - 165
5 ASM w/Meltagun in Las/Plas Razorback - 165
5 ASM w/Meltagun in Las/Plas Razorback - 165
Baal Predator w/Assault Cannon and HB - 145
Predator w/Autocannon and Lascannons - 135
Predator w/Autocannon and Lascannons - 135
Stormraven w/MM, TL-Assault Cannon, and Extra Armor - 215
Furioso Dreadnought - 125
Total: 1500
Wish the Baal Predator could be a Vindicator, but all the heavy support slots are tapped out. The AutoLas Predators IMO get priority over the Vindicators for reliability. However, the Baal is still necessary to get that 3rd ARM 13 Predator chasis into the army.
Mephiston vs. a regular Librarian with Shield + Extra Baal Predator is a tough choice. I took Meph because sometimes you just need to beat face in.
I wish there was some way to pack extra armor into the Furioso. Have you guys been using Talons or Blood Fists?

Your list looks a bit schizophrenic, I'd try to have a more even threat spread and try to focus on -either- shooting or assault. Downing the SR would neuter the army quite horribly.
EDIT: Blood Talons all the way!

Meph is not going into the Stormraven. He's sitting behind the wall of vehicles and counter-attacking.
Let's say the 3 Razorback squads and Stormraven/Furioso are a given. After that, 3 ARM 13 vehicles (either Preds or Vindis or Baals) can be taken since they are all around same points.
As I mentioned before, it then comes down to whether you want Librarian + your 4th ARM 13 vehicle or Mephiston. The 4th ARM 13 vehicle brings even more redundancy and some more shooting which comboed with a 5+ cover save is nice. Meph brings a credible and maneuverable counter-charge unit that projects an 18" bubble of melee protection around your army.
So it just depends on where you feel the extra benefit lies....another ARM 13 vehicle or a melee coutnercharging MC basically. I can see merits either way.
