after looking through the GW website, I noticed that tyranids are incredibly low in the bitz department. consequantly I am going to spend a helluva lot more time converting. for example, I am trying to convert a nid prime but I do not think GW will accept it as it is not warrior morpholigy/bioligy/ whatever! It sort of has the same as a hive guard/tyrant guard!
I will show it.

You need to buy a couple of boxes. Tyranids don't have much in their 'bits' section of the GW website ebcause they all on plastic sprues. After buying 4-5 boxes of various Tyranids, you'll be overflowing with bits.

Well I don't think your design is a problem. I think so long as you let your opponent know ahead of time what its supposed to be you should be ok. Just so you know you can make a Tyranid Prime out of a Tyranid Warriors box. It even says so on the GW website.

yes but it is not very well presented.
plus I dont like how you cant change the desighn slightly to make it a prime!

Well you can change it up a bit. Inside the box it comes with some extra spiky bits that really aren't really meant for anything. They are just meant to make the Warriors look distinguishable and you could easily use those parts to make it a Tyranid Prime or do you mean making the entire Tyranid Prime look different?

Hardly anything you buy off ebay is a con.
Thier are heaps of ebay stores that sell tyranid bits and being that they are stores often have to keep a good reputaion.
I often buy IG bitz for my Renegade mitlia and have had no issues with purchases from sellers.

Ebay isn't a con. If something like that happened as shown in the picture ebay would make a huge deal out of what happened and you'd probably get your money back, etc.

Are you tornamenting? If not, I recommend the Crocodile Games Scarab Ogre. It looks like a chunky Warrior; put some Tyranid arms and weapons on it, and it looks like it belongs in the force while still standing out.

"If you really want to know what it was like, to fight in the air in the great War, then go up to someone you have never met and who has never done you the slightest harm and pour a two-gallon tin of petrol over them. Then apply a match, and when they are nicely ablaze, push them from a fifteenth-floor window after first perhaps shooting them a few times in the back with a revolver. And be aware as you are doing these things that ten seconds later someone else will quite probably do them to you. This will exactly reproduce... the substance of First World War aerial combat and will cost your country nothing. It will also avoid the necessity of ten million other people to die in order for you to enjoy it."
