Hey Dakka! I am an avid fan of the tainted ones and I love the Sanguinary Guard models too, so I came up with some ideas of how to model them together.
At first I was going to build a whole diorama but I didnt want a huge static scene so I set about making some mini combinations that I could add to over time and this was the starting point:



I think this is still one of my favourite conversions. From here I then created these guys:







Then I wanted to try out Fine cast to see what the hype/criticism was about. Luckily for me I got some good molds and the detail is superb on them and they are so much easier to work with than metal. So here is Astorath as A Night Lord Aspiring Champ and Dante:



I got some more Sanguinary Guard and some fine cast Raptors for Christmas. The Raptors were a bit fail and needed a bit of work doing to them but I have some WIP pics to post tomorrow and then I have a Daemon Prince taking on a couple of Guard. Pics soon.

I am really happy with how this turned out and I know Sanguinary Guard don't have halberds but it is just for fun.
