Hydra Miniatures have done an AMAZING job with their games Retro Raygun and War Rocket! If you are a fan like me of old Pulp classic sci fi like BUCK ROGERS (the original one form the 30s and 40s not the updated one from the 70s) and Flash Gordon (again the 30s and 40s one not the 70s one). as well as Dan Dare and Rocky Jones Space Ranger you OWE it to yourself to check this out!!
http://shop.hydraminiatures.com/ Easy to learn rules... but not child like....fast action and amazing minis!

There are no Fantastic Worlds rules available on the Hydra site right now. I would assume that is because on their main page, they state they are developing Retro Raygun rules. They demoed the new rules at 2011 Gen Con. I would assume we will see finished product at this Gen Con. I assumed your post meant they might be out now.

What a cool line of figures. I'm not particularly interested in gaming in the "raygun gothic" style, but the line is quite good and reportedly the War Rocket rules play really well.

In looking at the line, it looks like the backpacks are separate items. I may look into using those as jump packs for some RT-era marines.
