I think it was Ko'sorro Khan on a bike, Kharn is not patient enough to take a bike, you should see what he did to his last pit crew...

Nice report, seems like a well played Eldar keep away and last turn contesting objectives on your part!

Haha yer you right, it was meant to be khan not kharn. Thanks for noticing, just corrected it. If only Kharn could have a bike... would be fun.

It felt a little dirty contesting at the end but it was the only way i could have won :(

I think that the you did well with your eldar but if he's all bikes and no tanks dont run fire dragons. And if hes using allot meltas don't run tanks run footdar, that way he wouldn't have anything to shoot at.

How come you suggest not using fire dragons against bikes? I didn't know he was using an all bike army (didn't even know what army he was using). But regardless the meta guns defiantly negated the advantages of the bikes and with the low model count of the bikes they seemed like quite a good response to them.

I haven't really used footdar before, what benefits would you say they had over mech eldar?

I'm with you Malduran. I don't play Eldar but I've gone against bike armies a couple of times. Being able to concentrate high S, low AP shots is devastating against them. Add to that that the Command Squad with T5/2+/3++/FNP is one of the most hard to kill units out there dropping a pile of melta shots on them is best chance you've got at wiping them out.

The advantage is numbers. In a match were your opponent has very few troops and is playing a very concentrated unforgiving army like a bike army at 1500 the more pieces you can field the better. I mean it needs to be well put together of course but if you need an army list for footdar i would be happy to help just pm me.

True, a large number of troops would help against such an unforgiving army like bike marines. It would probably be best for taking out the real hard nuts like the command squad with the 3+/3++ and FNP as the melta guns are wasted on them. However being able to take out a whole unit in one turn while still being able to target and threaten the rest of his army. That way i can concentrate on the nuts later.

More pictures!

That bike player made some mistakes but all those failed saves from the Command Squad was a piss take!

Looking forward to seeing more Battle Reports in the future.

Peace Out!
Jonny!
