Ferocious Blood Claw

Here is the scenario:
The greater daemon (Bloodthirster of Korne) attacked into a blob squad of 30 Death company assault marines. They were already engaged with something else, I think 15 were in b2b contact with the other daemons they were engaged with, so during consolidation the other 15 had to come and hit the Greater Daemon, or better said had to come in base to base.
The question here is... the Bloodthirster did a stop attack. What models does he hit? Only the 15 that he is in b2b? Since the others are in b2b (or engaged) with something else? Or the whole squad of 30?
After quite a bit of debating and arguing the Impirum gave it to the heretics and said the stomp hits everything, we already killed one of them darn things.

The stomp would hit just the models in b2b, however the wounds could be allocated to any model in the blob (except IC's). To clarify, since only 15 models are engaged with it, it only gets the 15 hits. At least, that's HIWPI. RAW I can see it going either way.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Each attack does hit a model individually, however, after you roll to hit/wound, are the wounds allocated, and that is by the owning player. It is exactly like any sort of multiple-unit assault.
