iv just bought my first item from the new citadel fine cast range today all i can say is omg they are crap iv been painting and gaming for years and thees new fine cast minitures are gak the item i bought was logan grimnar and the quality is dreadfull i have this in the old tin alloy casting and that is far better than this new thing is not only verry ruff the flash on it is bad and its full of faults like pin holes ect even the fur on his back has a hole in the wolfs ear and they have the neck to charge £14.50 for this crap i realy do think that games workshop are loosing it they seem more botherd thees days about making megga profits than good quality products at least the old stuff with its weight made it feel like you were getting sumthing for your money considering there price which realy is not cheep at all just kinda wonderd if any one else out there feels like they are short changing there loyal customers in there hunt for bigger and bigger profits

Agreed, I think everyone has had issues with Finecast, honestly I'd call up customer support and complain this has gotten me a few replacements in the past, it does not hurt to try.

How come Finecast sucks but you hardly ever hear of FW having these problems? Isn't it the same resin?

Welcome to Dakka my experience with Finecast has been OK thus far, only a few small bubbles.

The only finecast Item I have bought so far is the anniversary miniature, and it is still shrinkwrapped in the box with no hope of escape.

I belive FW use real resin and Finecast is Half resin half plastic. Could be wrong though.
