Well, for maximum efficiency, you could spice up the Tactical Squads.

change 2 of the 4 tactical squads to PF, Combi-melta, ML. Just allows you to have a bit of variety.

Change one of the Dev squad to 4 ML. Thats quite common and relatively cheap (150 points).

It's going to cost a lot but that is why it is over the next few years. Think I will follow your advice.

I find the combo of melta gun and lascannon don't usually work, as one is meant for long range and the other is meant for extreme close range.
You also seem to lack anti-infantry for this size of army.
The rest of this list is awesome though

It's an anti armour list as my other company is an anti infantry based list with lots of flamers and things.

Battle Companies are often equipped with Rhinos/Razorbacks to go into battle with.

Considering the Rhino is the most common vehicle in the Space Marine kit, and, the Ultramarines is one of the oldest chapters, you can probably afford to squeeze in Razorbacks/Rhinos somewhere.

Unless your plan is for a 3500 non-apocalypse game is to not really take objectives :O

I personally am building the 4th Company, and having Four Dreadnaughts means i have to take a Master of the Forge if I ever want it to be 'fieldable'.

I already have the 4th company, but require the 4 dreadnoughts to make it complete. I prefer to get the lists built up, then the models and then decide if I am going to stick any transports into the list. At the moment, there are no transports in either list as they are currently in use by the few squads of the 1st company I have. This list also has no heavy tanks in it, which I use in every list so I didn't put them in the list as they would be used anyway.
