Some vanguard vets I recently finished. The project itself has been in the works for awhile, but I just recently had the time to finish them. There are 15 vets in total and the original idea was to make them look like Greek hoplites. Hope you like em! C&C welcome.

Where did you get those shields? Nice job all around though.

Shields are from Scibor miniatures and are the large spartan shields. The heads were from Maxmini.

The vets look odd without shoulder pads. I love the poses.

Yeah, I purposely left them off because I wanted them to look less bulky and more slender. Those shoulder pads look good for sure, but they add a lot of bulk and I felt if I left them off I'd achieve that athletic hoplite look I was aiming for.
