I just picked up a couple of Rhino chassis that I am going to convert. I was able to get one apart but the other is holding fast. It looks like who ever built them used model cement. What is the best way to take it apart so I can fix it up?

Knife.

You can't remove the plastic cement without destroying the plastic - as any solvent able to effect it will also, by its nature, harm the plastic.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Darn
I kinda figured that. My knife has slipped a few times already. OUCH!!

The knife is working. Will Simple Green melt the model when I soak it to remove the crappy paint?

No. The Simple Green is completely safe on the plastic and plastic cement. Only the crappy paint will suffer

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
