I've run into a bit of a roadblock with regard to my EW French list. Several of my friends have agreed to start EW armies to play in a campaign I'm hosting, but the stipulation behind it is that they don't want to dump a ton of money into the models. As such, the games are being toned back to 1000 points from 1875. I've had some trouble deciding what to cut from my list, but I think I have it narrowed down to what should work reasonably well. First is the initial list/second is the 1000pt version.

Company HQ w. Somua S35 - 105

Medium Combat Platoon w. 5 Somua S35 - 520
Medium Combat Platoon w. 4 Somua S35 - 415
Light Combat Platoon w. 3 Hotchkiss H39 (long) - 205

Fusiliers Portes Platoon w. 3 squads - 165
All Terrain 75mm Gun Battery w. 4 guns, trucks, turntable - 300
Deep Reconnaissance Platoon w. 5 Panhard AMD35 - 165

Total 1875 points

Reduced list
Company HQ w. Hotchkiss H39 (long) - 65

Light Combat Platoon w. 3 Hotchkiss H39 (long) - 205
Medium Combat Platoon w. 3 Somua S35 - 310

Fusiliers Portes Platoon w. 2 squads - 120

Total 1000 points

My overall concern was not having to purchase a bunch of different models between the two lists for the time being. Essentially the 1000 point list just needs an extra 3 tank blister to get the Company HQ so the cost is minimal. Thoughts on both lists are appreciated

In this list at least. I'd take the recon Panhards to help avoid ambushes on your tanks.

Panhards are good too because of the one man turret rule. In V.2 of the rules panhards are the only armored AT that the french have that can move and fire their main turret guns. In V.3 they will be the only armored AT that don't suffer from the +1 to hit penalty when moving either. The guns on the panhards are nothing to laugh at in EW either...
