I've been working on a new trukk modelled to mimic a WWII halftrack.

Looks great.

I did a few using BW tracks. What kit did you take these tracks from?

It was a cheap Sherman tank kit from Hobby Lobby. I think it was $10. I had to cut down the treads for length, and remodel the worky bits.

Masterfully kitbashed. I'm not 100% sold on the 'kopta nose turret, but the other repurposed parts are not only integrated seamlessly, they actually feel like they belong there.

Agreed, personally, I'd chop and convert it into a 4-wide rokkit launcha (or just 2 wide and have an ammo box nearby). Otherwise really nice.

Looks intersting. My problem is the front wheels do not touch the ground/table. I also think they would have looked better back a bit more. I also agree with the Rokkit turret issue.

But none the less looks pretty neat.

It looks great, but I agree with the other folks - the Deffkopta nose needs to be replaced (and use it for a Warbuggy instead). I'd go with a horizontal rack of 4 instead. .

Thanks for the advice folks!

The tires actually do touch the ground. It's the goofy GW spikes on the bottom that make them look like they don't.

I think the advice on the rokkits is solid.I have a few extra pods from a speeder somewhere that I could use with a little "orkification".

I've got a megaton of those deffcoptas and I use those missile pods wherever I can. I suspect that it may have looked better to bash two of them, mount them bottom to bottom to make an 8 missile pod. I may try that as well.
