I suggest you take a look if you haven't. Its a stand alone conversion for Elder Scrolls: Oblivion that is of such quality that it could pass as a professional licensed product. In fact I have bought worse, including Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
Instead of spoiling the plot may I suggest you take my word for it Oblivion players download and run it with as few mods as possible. See for yourself and try and stay off the wiki, the storyline is well worth not spoilering. Happy to answer questions.
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

No love for Nehrim? You dont know what your missing.

This is a total conversion so it takes Oblivion, and plenty of mods to fix it and starts again with a brand new game.
Better story also.

It's been on my to-do list for a while. I tried it last year, but had issues with it, and have always meant to do a clean Oblivion install and restart it.
I chose 'steps' your attributes even for level 30+ are fairly modest which helps the game. Not having to piss around with which skills you level or dont level to optimise your stats improves the game considerably. You get exp and spend learning points.
The only other mods I used were an item glow remover and a spell remover to cut down on junk in my spellbook.
Other than that its vanilla, SureAI already did the graphics upgrades etc.
There is a lot to like about Nehrim including a few specifically post main quest missions so the game doesn't formally end when you beat the main quest. there isn't a lot of post main quest missions to do, just enough to blend into the continuing side quests.
In Oblivion you may be Champion of Cyrodil, but noone cares. in this what you end up as has more logical consequences.
The side questing is a little thin, but Nehrim has its own modding community, and SureAI is adopting mods into the main game thus creating a fluid expansion.

Skyrim is great, however back is good, if it takes you to a well modded Morrowind, so the concept is established.
