blood angels and space wolves working together? is there a book or campaign or history of these two chapter working together?

It was my understanding that after an honour duel, they work together just as well as any other two chapters, if not better, trying to out do the other one.

The two chapters are kinda far apart, in terms of distance. I don't know why they would interact a whole lot. I also felt that way about SW and Tau, you know cause they are on the other side of the galaxy, but they still interact so what do I know.

Are you wondering because of the fact that both chapters have that gene flaw with the whole ragey thing?

I haven't heard of any stories of them working together but they would own face if they did.

It's cool, man. Let's face it, there are at least twenty different chapters with "Angel!" in their name, it's becoming very hard to tell them apart.

Well everynow and again SW decide to shoot off in different directions to look for Leman Russ...
They never find him but it makes for some good stories.
One great company may end up in the same sector of space as a Blood Angel company.

I think the Wolves and the Scars would have more reason to cooperate...

To the Wolves, BA would just be another loyalist chapter, no special relationship

As long as its not DA they'd work with any chapters I GUESS. There's a whole power trip pride thing with the wolves, and maybe the level headed angels (aside for the whole ragey thing) would be a good foil. But yeah, the wolves and the scars are tight, thatd be ideal.

Both are Space Marines when it comes down to it. The SW may not think much of the Codex, but they're well known for respecting skill and bravery which the BA aren't exactly short on. The SW might be a bit unruly but they still defend the Imperium, something which Commander Dante and his men also do - the SW turning up for Armageddon surely earned them some respect from the BA.

Not that I have any doubts the wolves would test the patience of the angels if they met up, what with all the boasting, drinking and non-Codex ideas... But both see themself as champions with great deeds to do - the wolves want to do deeds worthy of sagas and the angels want to do deeds worthy of their predecessors. Wise and level-headed commanders (which they both have) would probably manage to channel it into a sort of friendly rivalry on the campaign.

I think Spetulhu's reply is spot on.
Dante and Grimnar are among the most charismatic and respected commanders in the Imperium. They would certainly get along.

And yeah, Armageddon would be a precedent for such cooperation.
