I got Two Land Raiders. One is already a Redeemer. The other has not been built. Should I make a Crusader or another Redeemer?

Supposingly I am going to roll a 2 Land Raider list.

I guess I can build it as a Crusader so I can choose which one to use for a game of single land raider setup. But is there a good reason to run 2 Redeemer?

My list is usually:
- Sit back and shoot 2000 pts Codex Space Marine
- Deathwing

Two redeemers purely because of the transport capacity, you can move a good number of troops etc forward fully, as using the power of machine spirt special rule still allows you to fire at crusing speed. The twin linked hurricane bolters and assualt cannon means you can easily dish out a lot of damage before assulating with what ever you have lerkin inside them, with the aid of the frag luanchers.

Redeemer is the one with Flamestorm cannon. The Crusader is the one with Hurricane Bolters.

I thought that if you move a full 12", you can only shoot 1 weapon with PoTMS. So the crusader will just give me more transport capacity since the hurricane bolter is not as good as the flamestorm cannon in close range.

Crusaders every time. A LR is for getting into the fray quickly and safely, and the LRC does this best, its H-bolters can also put down withering firepower at a slow advance, enabling it to clear the way for units taking cover behind it. At a stand still, it puts down the firepower of a terminator squad or two, capable of severely damaging enemy infantry. The flamestorms, while good, have a short reach and compromise the transport capacity.

Sorry I ment the crsader, as the flamestorn is a template weapon it is good in combat but the bolters give you a full 24 inch range each time, double the number of shoots over 12 inch and there twin linked given the option to re role failed hits. A bolter can take out most units.

if you're talking about the physical model, then make it interchangeable between the pods. then you can have both when you need them.
