so i m new to WM/H and this is what i was thinking for a 15pt beastick... please as much C/C as possible

Vyros
Phoenix
Griffon
Griffon

Scyir
Archanist

PLEASE i dont need the "well my army would shoot/ assassinate you before you could do that" responses i understand no list is without weaknesses or soft spots. im looking for constructive C&C in regards to tactica and suggestions of maybe better models to take with the same goal in mind etc

The idea being turn 1 i deploy in a pretty tight brick formation (scryir in b2b with a myrm) and then cast mobility on my battlegroup (phoenix and 2 griffs and vyros). then cast inviolable resolve on my scyir (+2 arm/fearless) mobility gives the phoenix/2grifffs 18" run or 11" charge (probably a run with everyone 1st turn) with vyros, archanist and scyir right behind them. next turn recast mobility and invol, and i could also pay the 1 FOC ea to add 2" to griff movement on top of mobility (13" charge for griffs and 11" for phoenix) charge in 2 griffs and a phoenix and a scyir. if he can reach and try to keep the scyir in b2b with a myrm for +2 arm and +2 from invol and hopefully with a flank attack.... could be good !

Against a Warmachine army this could be a decent force.
If against hordes I would probably take Nayl instead of the Scyir...then rush Nayl ahead and have him get killed right by the Warlock so then in the next turn you can charge and not have to worry about damage transfer/or angry beasts.

I might even suggest taking pEyriss instead of the Scyir or Archanist, and use her disruption against a Warcaster...knock out their focus abilities on whatever she shoots.

Two things.

1. You can upkeep Inviolable Resolve for 1 focus at the beginning of your turn.

2. Looks like a good plan. But be careful of running to far. Let the enemy move into your threat ranges not you into his as you can't take a punch.

Yastobaal's #2 - great thing to think about. Ret is more of a defensive army from my take on it.
Letting them come to you so you can charge. If you don't charge you're usually dead with Ret.

thx for the replys, i was definitely planning on keeping invol up with upkeep cost, just a mis type in the OP ( but thx for pointing it out though just in case!)

as for the running /charging thing i will definitely keep that in mind ... my goal was to make a build that had long range mobility for closing fast on shooty armys, but still had some nice charge and punch with reach for CC... everything in the list has reach i believe (dont have my book on my atm) so i figured between the mobility spell, and reach i could get either zerg up and charge if they go first and have moved up and if not move up then get a long range charge nxt turn and catch some people off guard .. as mentioned most people dont expect ret to be aggressive
