I've been cruising the non-Battlefront mini sites looking for a T-28. Needing them for my Finns as thier two deck turret mgs and turret mg look fairly sexy to back up the infantry. Plus thier Tiger top armor seems like it would be a benefit in an assualt as well.

Just not keen on shelling out battlefront prices on them. At one time there was a resin caster on Ebay that had some, but I can't seem to find him anymore.

Not as far as I know. Zvesda do a T-26 a BT-5 and a KV1 but no T-28. Plastic Soldier only do T-34s but are planning to do KVs this year.

Gaming Models has one for $5, but it's resin:

There's also one in the Axis & Allies Early War set:

As a fellow Finn player, the problem with the T-28 is its outclassed by nearly all other Russian tanks by MW, definitely by the LW period. With Limited Vision, an Unreliable Slow Tank with Front Armor 4 is basically a giant target after EW. But, I understand the appeal since it looks so cool.

I had Gaming model ones (I sold them when Zvesda started bringing out stuff) and they were just about acceptable, not great though. The Axis and Allies ones are crap.

I'm hopeful that Zvesda will release one though, they've done just about everything else for the period and they do make them in larger scales.

Really? That sucks.

I have their Panzer I and PanzerBefehls and they're pretty nice. Not as good as Skytrex or BF, but good for $5 apiece.

His consistency is very hit and miss. I've seen some stuff that is every bit as good as BF and some that is bloody awful.

I have some of his T35's and these are not that great either, but better then the only other alternative from QRF which is shocking. If BF re-released the ones they did I'd buy those, and I never buy BF anymore.

Yeah, I know they are pretty much outclassed by everything but the triple mgs per tank and the top armor of 2 seems like it would be effective as a defensive assault tank. Park it in some concealing terrain on an objective with infantry support.

Just things I have been pondering as I now have enough infantry platoons to play something other than Sturmi.
